Flowdesk is hiring a Trading Operations Analyst NAM (F/M/D) to oversee critical trading operations in the North America region. Flowdesk is a regulated, full-service digital asset trading and technology firm specializing in market making, OTC trading, and treasury management services, with a mission to build a global financial institution for digital assets designed for market integrity and efficiency.
About the Role
As Trading Operations Analyst for North America, you’ll be a key contributor shaping trading strategies, ensuring governance and compliance, and managing daily operational activities for the trading team. This position is based in NYC and requires someone who can manage risk, coordinate across departments, and build strong client relationships. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment applying a disciplined, first-principles approach to building scalable systems.
What You’ll Do
- Manage trading routes for efficiency and profitability while establishing and maintaining governance structures
- Enforce transaction authorization policies, document optimized trading processes, and oversee tools and external service providers
- Implement transaction monitoring for trading events and funding activities while safeguarding vault and whitelisted addresses
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication, provide operational tools for efficiency, and streamline client deployments and trading launches
- Maintain databases, ensure system interoperability, manage security tools and configurations, and generate PnL reports
- Handle critical tasks including opening exchange accounts and managing new fees and aggregation feeds
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in cryptocurrency trading operations or financial markets
- Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency exchanges, trading platforms, and blockchain technology
- Excellent understanding of risk management and security protocols in the cryptocurrency industry
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions under pressure
Nice-to-Haves:
- MBA or relevant certifications
- Regulatory compliance knowledge and experience
