Blockchain Futurist Conference is hiring an Account Executive for Event Sponsorship Sales to drive revenue through strategic partnerships in the Web3, crypto, and blockchain ecosystem. This is a high-impact role for someone deeply embedded in the industry who can build and close sponsorship deals independently.
The Account Executive will own the complete sales lifecycle—from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating contracts and managing long-term client relationships. You’ll work across the crypto, DeFi, AI, Web3, and FinTech sectors, translating client goals into actionable event strategies while maintaining accurate forecasts and pipeline visibility through Salesforce CRM.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and qualify sponsorship leads within crypto, DeFi, AI, Web3, FinTech, and blockchain sectors
- Deliver customized proposals and negotiate contracts to close deals and meet sales targets
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining relationships that drive repeat business and referrals
- Monitor client satisfaction, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and analyze industry trends
- Use Salesforce CRM to track growth, maintain customer details, and provide regular forecasts and market updates
- Collaborate with production, marketing, and operations teams to deliver seamless event experiences
- Attend events to support client engagement and relationship building
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience in business development or partnership roles within crypto, Web3, tech, or event industry (not entry-level)
- Strong network of contacts in the blockchain and crypto ecosystem
- CRM management experience with Salesforce strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of current trends in Web3, crypto, blockchain, and AI
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter capable of working independently and remotely
- Comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior event industry experience or interest in events
- Experience attending or speaking at crypto/blockchain conferences

Compensation: $60,000 base + commission, with potential for extension or permanent opportunity post-event
